Kostal BackUp Switch G3

The manual KOSTAL BackUp Switch G3 allows you to continue supplying your home with power during a power cut, in combination with the PLENTICORE G3 series, solar energy and a connected battery. To do this, the KOSTAL BackUp Switch G3 is installed in the building services system and connected to the inverter. In the event of a mains power failure, simply switch manually to the home network and the inverter will continue to supply you with power.

• Manual three-phase mains switch 
• Compatible with all inverters in the PLENTICORE G3 series 
• Integrated cable break detection for the switch position output signal 
• Compact and space-saving installation: only 8 module units are required. The BackUp Switch therefore fits perfectly on the same DIN rail alongside the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter 
• Can be installed in an existing sub-distribution board or in a separate enclosure
• Convenient wiring options: one output each for loads in backup mode and in mains mode
• Suitable for domestic connections up to 63A 
• Connection of a local neutral point simulation possible
