Huawei FusionSolar launches new MC0 inverter series for C&I applications The market for commercial and industrial photovoltaic systems is evolving rapidly. Higher module power outputs, increasing DC currents, more complex system layouts and growing demands for safety and availability are placing new demands on inverter technologies. 

With the new SUN2000-30/40/50K-MC0 series, Huawei FusionSolar is launching a new generation of C&I string inverters specifically designed to address these developments. A new generation for modern C&I requirements: today’s commercial PV systems must deliver significantly more than they did just a few years ago. Modern high-performance modules require higher input currents, whilst installers and planners expect maximum flexibility in string configuration. At the same time, issues such as arc fault detection, surge protection, remote monitoring and long-term operational reliability are becoming increasingly important. 

The MC0 series addresses these requirements with a clear focus on efficiency, safety and system intelligence. The units are designed for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications – from traditional rooftop systems to demanding on-site projects. International debut The MC0 inverter series made its international debut at the FusionSolar Partner Summit Europe 2025, held as part of Huawei Connect Europe in Madrid. At the event, Huawei presented the MC0 models as part of its new generation of inverters for the C&I segment, highlighting the strategic development of its commercial and industrial portfolio. 

Overview of the SUN2000-MC0 series The SUN2000-MC0 series covers three power classes: 

SUN2000-30K-MC0 (Hersteller Artikelnummer 1077556)

SUN2000-40K-MC0 (Hersteller Artikelnummer 1077540)

SUN2000-50K-MC0 (Hersteller Artikelnummer 1077539)

All variants feature four independent MPP trackers with a total of eight DC inputs, thereby enabling flexible string configuration even with complex roof structures. The maximum efficiency of up to 98.7% ensures high energy yields throughout the system’s entire service life. Key features include: integrated arc fault detection (AFCI ? 450 m), Type I + II DC surge protection and Type II AC surge protection, PID recovery to stabilise module output, and integrated Wi-Fi for commissioning. The SUN2000-50K-MC0 is also equipped with intelligent active air cooling, which ensures stable performance even at high ambient temperatures and under continuous load.
